Learn a New Language Efficiently
If you want to learn a new language, there is only one way: Start with it.
It doesn’t matter if you just learn 2 words a day, or if you do one chapter in your exercise book. The most important thing is to start. Do not tell yourself that you’ll start tomorrow because you are too busy today. Wrong. You only need 5 minutes before bed to learn 2 new vocabulary words. Easy, isn’t it? Compare it to picking up a new sport. You won’t be able to run 10km as a beginner. Instead, you start slowly, maybe 1km today, 1km tomorrow, and so on.
This is how progress works. You set your goal and you begin. “I want to learn 14 new words this week.” Does that sound like a lot? Maybe, but it’s actually just 2 words a day. The key to success is not learning as much as you can in as short a time as possible, but in actually starting. Once you get into a routine of studying vocabulary every evening, it will be easier for you to learn more and more in the future. Just try it!
